Getting Inkflow to work for Bazzite

Many thanks to this Reddit post for helping me get this to work.

  1. Run lsusb to get the USB ID of your Supernote.
  2. Add this config file to /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-tablet.conf:
Section "InputClass"
    Identifier "Supernote Tablet"
    Driver "wacom"
    MatchDevicePath "/dev/input/event*"
    MatchUSBID "2207:0007" <-- here put the usb id
EndSection
  1. Run sudo libinput list-devices to see why it’s still not working — my Supernote Manta isn’t providing its resolution.
  2. Run rpm-ostree install libevdev-utils. Reboot.
  3. Run touchpad-edge-detector 251x183 /dev/input/event6 (or whatever event your Supernote shows up as) (251x183 is the resolution in millimeters of the Supernote Manta; replace if you have a different model)
  4. Add this to /etc/udev/hwdb.d/61-evdev-local.hwdb:
# [Supernote Manta]
evdev:input:b0003v2207p0007*
 EVDEV_ABS_00=0:32767:131
 EVDEV_ABS_01=0:32767:179

(If you’re using a Nomad or one of the other older models, touchpad-edge-detector will give you the proper numbers you need.)

  1. Run sudo systemd-hwdb update and sudo udevadm trigger /dev/input/event6 (or whatever event your Supernote shows up as)
  2. You may need to reboot.
  3. It should work now.
  4. If you have more than one monitor, go to System Settings > Drawing Tablet to configure how it should interact with your setup.
