Switched to MkDocs
Eleventy is fine. It’s fine! But then I discovered MkDocs and found I vastly prefer how it works.
Buuut I kind of hated all the themes I could find. Well, “hate” is a strong word, but it’s a tool built for writing documentation pages and I have a personal website.
So I wrote my own theme. And it was actually way easier than I thought it would be. It took me about a day.
Dependencies I needed for my use case:
- md_in_html
- admonition
- pymdownx.details
- mkdocs-audio (For my music page)
- pymdownx.arithmatex (For my math pages)
I’ll put the code up on my Codeberg page eventually, but I want to make sure it runs smooth for a while first.
Also, I’m certain I’ve updated my Atom feed with more recent things, but the newest item that shows up there is my toki pona translation of Gaius’ elevator speech??? What did I do. What happened. omg.
