Trying out Ellipsus as a writing platform. It’s solidly Okay at the moment, but it lacks smart quotes. Not a super big deal since I can find-and-replace for those later.
The big selling point is that it has git-style collaborative editing… but merging drafts is all-or-nothing, there’s no selective merge, which is a pretty big oversight. They say that’s in the works, but until it’s rolled out I don’t see myself collaborating much if at all.
Still, it’s pretty solid if you just want to write on it, and the export options are nice.
